A Study on the Measuring System of the Variation of the Aiming Baseline in the Aiming Sights

Abstract
A method of measuring the variation of the aiming baseline, which uses an infrared collimator as the main measuring instrument, is put forward in this paper. Based on the measuring principle of the optical measuring system about the variation of the aiming baseline in the aiming sights, an optical measuring system has been designed, which includes an infrared collimator as the main measuring instrument. The experimental result shows that this method can well solve the problem--the limitation of the measuring range caused by the small field of view of the reflection type collimator. And the angular accuracy of 0.05 mils is realized in this system.
