Service-based Enterprise Application Integration with Message-oriented Middleware

- Abstract
- Information sharing and collaboration brings about interest of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) for “islands of information coherence” in the organizaiton. EAI actually can be an elastic framework based on Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), developed from the bottom up by means of existing technologies. This paper introduces Message-oriented Middleware (MOM) with detail explanation on its implementation framework and operational priciples, and proposes an approch to build a flexible and reliable messaging system based on MOM. Both SOAP and database adaptors provide by MOM are utilized to store-and-forward all the todo tasks diversed in different applications. Users can access the relevant todo information in Enterprise Information Portal with great improvement on the operation efficiency, instead of visiting different application systems to deal with the todo tasks.
