The Research of Chinese Population Aging Based on Econometric Model

- Abstract
- As we all know the direct cause of population aging is the declining of birth rate and the extending of expected life. This article aims to find the fundamental force which influence and determine these two factors. At first, we select economic conditions, medical and health conditions, education level and environmental conditions as major factors that affect the population aging. Then we establish the double logarithmic model of population aging. We get the econometric model of population aging by parameter estimation, statistical test, and modified test. Finally, we delete two variables and get the final Influence factors. The influence factors of Chinese population aging are economic conditions and medical and health conditions.
