Abstract: Based on the panel data from 1998 to 2007 of Chinese 14 major commercial banks, this article estimated the possible impacts of various macro and micro factors on the efficiency of those banks by applying fixed effect, random effect and dynamic panel data model. We find that: (1) GDP growth has at least 3.6% or more significant negative effect on cost efficiency and its decomposition-technical efficiency and allocate efficiency of Chinese commercial banks, while it has a significant positive effect of at least 7% or more on the dynamic Malmquist index and the dynamics of technological progress index. (2) High market concentration and large proportion of state-owned shares are negatively correlated to changes of the sample bank’s static efficiency indicators-cost efficiency and its decompositiontechnical efficiency and allocation efficiency, while positively correlated to technological progress index, decomposed out of output-based dynamic Malmquist index.

Abstract: Effectiveness of top management turnover is an important factor of corporate governance mechanism effectiveness. However, presently there are a lot of controversies on how corporate governance affects top management turnover on the academic circles. Many researchers have been done on this issue from these perspectives of corporate performance, internal governance mechanism, external governance mechanism, and characteristics of top management, and it has got many research achievements. These research papers have important theoretical and practical significance, helping us to better understand corporate governance mechanism and actively improve the level of our corporate governance. The main purpose of this paper makes a summary of these research results so as to provide a reference to our academic research in the field. This provided a new cognitive perspective for the study relatively lack of multi angle of corporate govemance and top management turnover; there is less study from the external supervision mechanism to investigate the influence factors of top management turnover.

Abstract: In this paper, a so-called Plateau-Mesh problem is proposed, that is, to find a triangular mesh with the boundary formed by a given spacial closed polygon, whose area is minimum among all triangular meshes with the same boundary. To solve this problem, the former work by minimizing a function describing the mesh area directly, cannot obtain the global minimum of the function, only obtain its local minimum. In order to overcome this shortcoming, a new method to minimize the objective function which is measured by discrete mean curvatures is presented. As a base of the algorithm, the partial derivatives of discrete mean curvatures of the triangular mesh are evaluated. Numerical examples and error analysis are also given and the results show that our algorithm is correct and effective.

Abstract: This paper focuses on dealing with some problems in a dynamic transportation network that is full of stochastic situation, time-oriented and hard to work out the optimal path. To tackle these issues, an optimal path selection algorithm based on BP is proposed. The algorithm utilizes neuron model combined with two training and learning methodologies which are EBP and LMS for the sake of improving velocity of convergence and running time. The simulation results indicate that this algorithm works better than traditional BP in this context in terms of velocity of solution, rate of downward gradient and performance.

Abstract: As we all know the direct cause of population aging is the declining of birth rate and the extending of expected life. This article aims to find the fundamental force which influence and determine these two factors. At first, we select economic conditions, medical and health conditions, education level and environmental conditions as major factors that affect the population aging. Then we establish the double logarithmic model of population aging. We get the econometric model of population aging by parameter estimation, statistical test, and modified test. Finally, we delete two variables and get the final Influence factors. The influence factors of Chinese population aging are economic conditions and medical and health conditions.

Abstract: Along with the continuous extension of Business Intelligence application based on the Internet and Intranet, data management, effective response and business integration are problems faced by the enterprise. It is useful to upgrade business system how to set up parameterized components and structure. To achieve the goal, researching architecture mode PowerBuilder base on the Adaptive Server Enterprise of Sybase, analyzing, framing, programming and introducing mechanism of the reused component, those problems like process response have been solved. It also reflects the flexible characteristics of the application system and meets the demand of multi-layer integration.

Abstract: At different spatio-temporal scales, the working mechanisms of oasis stability, control goals, and approaches are different. In the paper, 3 scales of oasis system are divided: (1) a small-scale, with a temporal unit of decade and a spatial unit of oasis patch; (2) a middle-scale, with a temporal unit of century and a spatial unit of basin; (3) a large-scale, with a temporal unit of millennium and a spatial unit of administrative region. As a complex system of dissipative structures, oasis systems evolve under forces of self- and other-organizational processes. At different spatio-temporal scales coupling relations of them are different too. We analysis coupling relations between self- and other-organizational processes focused on small-scales and middle-scales. At small-scales, the coupling of the two processes embodies the coupling of scientific policies, advanced methods and approaches, and the environment and water resources in oasis patches. At middle-scales, the coupling of the two processes embodies macro management of the oasis in the administrative region with a unit of basin.

Abstract: A high-salinity pickling process would be replaced by the low salinity pickled technology, because of the wastewater and product quality safety in traditional Chinese pickled mustard tuber processing. The objective of this study was to determine the microbial community structure and its predominant functional species by single strand conformation polymorphism (SSCP) profiles under the optimizing pickling conditions with low salinity. Effects of SSCP conditions on gel electrophoresis assay as well as changes of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) population were also investigated. Results: Twenty two percent of gel concentration and addition of 6% glycerol in gel preparation for electrophoresis separation were ideal conditions for SSCP analysis of microbial community. The pH value in leaching liquid was descending throughout the pickling process and the total LAB population increased, reached the peak of 7.51 log cfu mL-1 at day 10, then decreased gradually until to a stable level. With the optimal SSCP technique, 11 distinct dominant bands were obtained throughout the fermentation process of mustard tuber. Based on the sequence comparison the results showed that Leuconostoc mesenteroides was the predominant microorganism in the initial stage of fermentation. Then the Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus brevis appeared quickly. At the later stage, the predominant species were Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus versmoldensis. Conclusions: SSCP technique is a feasible method for microbial community analysis in pickled mustard tuber. Gel concentration and addition of glycerol in gel for electrophoresis operation had influences on the SSCP pattern performance for microbial community analysis of pickled samples. The contribution of some dominant LAB species was confirmed by SSCP method in the low-salinity environment of pickled mustard tuber.

Abstract: This paper investigates the security role of “three laws and one regulation” on coal mine safety production in China. The effects of “three laws and one regulation” through a dummy variable formulate a theoretical basis for comparative analyzing the direction and magnitude of “three laws and one regulation” since 1990. The fundamental regression model for describing the relationship between the death rate per million tons coal and five key indicators on coal mine safety production was established. The results show that the security role of “three laws and one regulation” made the death rate reduced by 0.531 persons per million tons coal. “PRC Mine Safety Law” and “PRC Coal Law” did not have the desired effect of reducing the death rate, and the ratio of security role of “PRC Safety Production Law” and "the Regulation of Reporting and Investigating Production Accident” on coal mine death rate-reducing is about 4:5. The more detailed penalties rules of law, the stronger operability in the implementation process. The terms of economic penalties and sanctions would be closely consistent with the level of economic development, and the stronger law enforcement, the better its implementation.

Abstract: The credit risk assessment is one of the most important topics in the field of financial risk management. In this paper the credit risk assessment model using Kalman filtering is tested for listed companies of china. The Kalman filtering model sets regression parameters based on the actual dynamic characteristics of the credit risk assessment. Firstly the parameters of the logistic regression are expressed as state space model form, then the parameters of the default model are estimated by Kalman filtering. Finally empirical results show that the Kalman filtering model has a very credible prediction and generalization ability.
