he Direct-modulated S-band Transmitter with Low Mass and Compact Size

Abstract
According to the requirements of miniaturization and low power consumption of the Companion satellite, the design method for the quadrature phase shift key (QPSK) direct-modulated S-band transmitter is proposed. Based on the innovative structure design, the low mass and compact size are achieved. According to the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design and the successful on-orbit demonstration, the method is proved to be feasible and reliable.
