Application Research of Hybrid Cipher Algorithm Based on VPN Network to Hydraulic Information Transmission

VPN technology has realized the intranet information transmission on the public information network just like pulling out a special line for the users. VPN constructs a virtual private network through using public communication facility such as Internet to achieve the aim of realizing the security and cost saving. In this paper, we propose a solution based on software VPN server to solve the problem of both the enterprise network security and transmission cost, and then explain the advantages of software VPN server through a specific engineering instance. If the users have special requirements for data security, then they can adopt the hybrid cipher algorithm. It combines with symmetric and asymmetric cipher algorithm and provides the functions of information transmission integrity as well as secrecy, which has played a very important role in the VPN network security. In the following we discuss the implementation mechanism of this algorithm, and perform the programming under the VC++ 6.0 platforms to realize this algorithm. The system performance analysis and hydraulic project practice examination show that this algorithm based on AES and ECC has a higher security compared with the traditional DES and RSA algorithm, and effectively satisfies the VPN network requirements on data transmission security.
