Low-Carbon Economy Development in Hubei of China

- Abstract
- To develop low-carbon economy is reality and historical choice for human being. The competition between countries in the future depends on environment technology and the sustainable energy use. Hubei province located in the middle of China has abundant natural resources, relative comprehensive industry and technology foundation, but the condition of environment pollution, high energy consumption and low-efficiency energy use, high emission and low-degree treatment is still severe. This paper discusses the advantage and problem of Hubei’ low-carbon transformation, and puts forward some strategies to solve these problems.
