Redefinition of Intelligence Concerning the Relationships among Intelligence, Information, Knowledge and Wisdom

Abstract
To define intelligence is an important issue in information science field. This paper attempts to define intelligence from the viewpoint of clarifying its relationships with those confusable conceptions: information, knowledge, and wisdom. Firstly it introduces four different viewpoints on the relationships among intelligence, information, knowledge and wisdom, and makes comments. Then it combines with the typical definition of intelligence which belongs to the knowledge sect, analyzes its forming reason and evaluates it from the perspective of epistemology. At last based on above study, one new definition of intelligence is presented and its nature is also indicated.
