Abstract: In centralized competitive generation right trading market, as the market scope and participatents vary, the paired matching model and unified clearing model all have their advantages and disadvantages, but our country use paired matching model only, the research on unified clearing model is less. In addition, along with the increase of inter-province generation rights trades, each province’s comprehensive benefits will be influenced, and the benefit balance problem will also highlight gradually. Aiming to solve these problems, this paper details the mathematical expression of unified clearing model based on the analysis of generation right trading mode, and contrasts two models’ applicabilities. Besides, this paper proposes two benefits-coordinating ways under different regional market structures. Finally, this paper uses one example to verify the effectiveness of above method, the result indicates that this paper’s method can balance each province’s benefits and reduce the total welfare loss.

Abstract: A core competence is the key to the survival and development of a hotel in the furious market competition. The foundation of improving the hotel competitive force is to have it evaluated effectively. However, the evaluation can’t be implemented with a single index as a hotel core competence is the result of an integration of a number of factors. Thus this paper introduces a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to evaluate the core competitiveness of hotels, which consists of five first-class indicators, namely non-material resources, technique capacity, management capacity, operation ability and enterprise culture. Moreover, the model also comprises 16 second-class and 42 third-class indicators. The weights of the above-mentioned indicators are determined by experts in a questionnaires survey. In order to examine the effectiveness of the index system, this paper conducts an empirical case study of Howard Johnson Zhangjiang Shanghai. The findings show that the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is quite practical and operable when applied in the hotel industry. This evaluation model not only helps researchers understand the overall situation of core competences of a hotel, but also reflects its weak points in development, which makes it possible for researchers to propose countermeasures based on the results achieved, contributing to improvement in core competences of the hotel.

Abstract: In order to reduce the wireless sensor network energy consumption, prolong the network lifetime, and enhance network structure flexibility, scalability and extensibility, this paper presents an energy-efficient wireless sensor network routing algorithm IQEA based on the improved quantum evolutionary algorithm. The algorithm will divide the network into multiple clusters, and in the building cluster process, we consider the residual energy of the node and the distance from the target node, because these are the keys to balance the consumption of whole network energy. Each node within the cluster is formed into a multi-hop route, then by improving the quantum evolutionary algorithm to reduce the total distance of the link, and then come to the best clustering method. Simulation results show that this algorithm extends the network lifetime effectively, and reduce the network energy consumption significantly.

Abstract: The process of ART2 can recognize learned models fast and be adapted to new objects rapidly. It carries out clustering with hierarchy structure by using competitive learning and self-steady mechanism in dynamic environment with noise and without supervision. Here discuss the common-used learning rules at first. The way to adjust learning rate is suggested and the assimilation effect is verified by a shape learning trial. The categorization results are also compared to illustrate the effects of different learning rates. To some extent, the improved algorithm solves the pattern drifting problem.

Abstract: We propose a cross-layer multicast mechanism in wireless ad hoc network which incorporates network coding scheme into MAC layer and manipulates multicast operations in a MPLS fashion at network layer. Through a brief analysis of the multicast performance, we demonstrate that the proposed mechanism has the potential to achieve the system throughput upper-bound defined by the Max-Flow Min-Cut theorem.

Abstract: The innovation ability of top management team (TMT) has a direct influence on the enterprise’s strategic decision. How to enhance their innovative capacity becomes a problem that needs urgent solution in both the academic field and business field. Integrating the pluralistic knowledge behind diverse characters of TMT provides a solution to this problem. Firstly, this article defines the innovation ability of TMT, and then discusses its influencing factors from the angle of knowledge combined with upper echelons theory and team process. Finally, based on the point of view of knowledge integration, the paper suggests three ways to improve TMT’s ability. They are structural optimization, process optimization and result optimization. What’s more, this research picks one of telecommunication companies as a case to develop an understanding of the issues about enhancing the innovation ability of TMT.

Abstract: At low bit rates, the quality of coded video can be achieved by the dynamic resolution conversion (DRC) method for the MPEG-4 standard. In this paper, it is shown that a new three-dimensional (3-D) DRC method can be used with the MPEG-4 algorithm to improve the MPEG-4 DRC method for low bit-rate video coding. In addition, this 3-D DRC method uses a 3-D down sampling in the encoder and a 3-D up sampling in the decoder, respectively, for the MPEG-4 algorithm. Furthermore, a novel optimal algorithm is utilized to solve the rate-distortion (R-D) problem that joints the 3-D DRC down/up sampling and adaptive quantization for video coding. Experimental result shows that the proposed MPEG-4 with 3-D DRC and adaptive quantization obtains a better subjective quality and objective PSNR of the reconstructed frame than the standard MPEG-4 and the MPEG-4 DRC algorithm.

Abstract: To define intelligence is an important issue in information science field. This paper attempts to define intelligence from the viewpoint of clarifying its relationships with those confusable conceptions: information, knowledge, and wisdom. Firstly it introduces four different viewpoints on the relationships among intelligence, information, knowledge and wisdom, and makes comments. Then it combines with the typical definition of intelligence which belongs to the knowledge sect, analyzes its forming reason and evaluates it from the perspective of epistemology. At last based on above study, one new definition of intelligence is presented and its nature is also indicated.
