Abstract: With the emergence of suborbital recreational flights (“space tourism”) and plans for manned missions to Mars, the effects of space exploration on the human body will become a subject of critical concern in the coming decades. Space medicine will face new challenges and become one of the new frontiers of public health. Here we show how space medicine is becoming an emerging problem of public health, and describe the threats that space poses for human health, and identify some of the limitations that hinder advances in this discipline. The challenges for human health in space are mostly related to exposure of untrained people of various ages and health conditions to space flight in the short-term context of suborbital recreational flights and in the long-term context of deep space exploration. We will expose some of the potential problems related to long stays in spaceand returning to earth after short or long exposure to space conditions, and, finally, to the particular issue of human reproduction under low gravity conditions. The challenges and limitations in the development of space medicine are mostly related to conceptual issues, to problems of access to space medicine education, to technical limitations related to experimental gravity control, and to limitations related to the very small size of the original astronaut population. We identify some of the issues which will have to be addressed and propose an operative framework to optimize space medicine advances, and to contribute to ensuring safe conditions for human space exploration.

Abstract: The objective of this cross-sectional study was to determine the relationship between excessive Internet/ Video games/ Television viewing and childhood obesity and low vision in the State of Qatar. A total of 3000 school students aged from 6 to 18 years were approached and 2467 (82.2%) students participated in this study. Of the 2,467 studied school children, 591 (24.0%) were either overweight (18.8%) or obese (5.1%). Majority of the overweight (80.2%) and obese (80.3%) children spent ≥ 3 hours on the Internet (p < 0.001). A larger proportion of overweight (77.2%) and obese (70.1) children, when compared to normal weight (58.5%) children, slept ≤ 6 hours/night (p < 0.001). A significantly larger proportion of overweight and obese children, compared to normal weight children, prefer watching commercials, fantasy violence, violent movies and educational programs on TV (p < 0.001). Symptoms of excessive internet use and TV viewing ( ≥ 3 hours/day) manifested as headaches (36.5%), blurred vision (35.6%), double vision (9.8%), eye tiredness (15.7%), dizziness (24.4%) and hearing problems (25.0%). A significant number of those who spent ≥ 3 hours on the Internet had low vision in both right (14.9%) and left (14.0%) eyes (p < 0.001). The current study findings confirmed a positive association between obesity and low vision because of excessive use of Internet, Video games and TV viewing.

Abstract: In homeopathic medicine, there exist components of pharmacists that shape and conform groups of integral mono-pharmacists [1], whose specialized actions at quantum level are the recovery and strengthening of the will, of its organizational power and of its power regenerating of every organic system, like a factor lost in the mind-body to reach its total healthy state and endow organism to provide the body its power achieving anticipative their immunization and cure. Realizing some quantum medicine actions and its combination through integral mono-pharmacists belonging to some D12-groups, it is possible to obtain this recovery and strengthening process of the mind on the body, spilling quantum intelligence codes [2], through the programming of path integrals on the vital field, of all and every part of the human body helping it to recover its electronic organic memory. Due to the nature of these actions, these same methods can be induced for the treatment of symptoms of mental illnesses.
