Abstract: Reviewing the traditional area-based and length-based methods for extracting the main skeleton line of the polygon, this paper presents a new algorithm based on the major direction of the polygon. First, the nodes on the skeleton lines are divided into three types: the end-node, the jumper-node and the branch-node. Next, the diameter of the convex hull constructed by all end-nodes is calculated, which can denote the major direction of the polygon properly, so the two end-nodes on the diameter can be as the start and end points of the main skeleton line. Finally, the jumper-nodes and branch-nodes are connected orderly to construct the main skeleton line. The experiments show that the main skeleton lines extracted by the new algorithm are linearly smooth and in good shape.

Abstract: After near 6 decade’s control over Huaihe River, great achievements have been obtained in flood prevention and waterlog elimination, water resources development, utilization and protection, etc. yet, the negative issues still exist such as incomplete flood proof and disaster relief system, severe water resources waste, undesired efficiency and benefit in water utilization. In a certain period in the future, the Huaihe River control policy of “concurrent flood detention and discharge” shall be firmly carried out so as to do well the flood prevention, waterlog elimination and water resources development and utilization, water ecologic protection and overall management of watershed control system.

Abstract: In order to detect accurately interharmonics, a detection method based on HHT is presented. Firstly the signals containing interharmonics should be processed by empirical mode decomposition (EMD) to get a stable component of intrinsic mode functions (IMF), then the instantaneous amplitude and instantaneous frequency for each IMF are obtained by Hilbert transforming. A simulation study shows the feasibility and effectiveness of the method.

Abstract: Now IP protocol is widely used in mobile communication, and mobile IPv6 is a subset of IP protocol, it has huge address space, good mobility and safety, IPSec protocol is embedded in it [1]. However, the open mobile communication network link, dynamic of network topology, and the limited resources of mobile features bring serious security threats. In this paper, CL-PKC (Certificateless public key cryptography) is suggested to solve the key management issues in the mobile IPv6 network. Our new scheme can provide a solution to the security protection requirements of high sensitive mobile networks.

Abstract: This paper presented a new method of digital quadrature up-conversion design based on ?eld-programmable gate arrays (FPGA), which is the hardware design based on System Generator. First, the paper analysed the principle of digital quadrature up-conversion, applied System Generator for modeling, simulation and hardware implementation, then compared the advantages and disadvantages between the hardware design method based on System Generator and traditional RTL-level (register transfer level) design method based on HDL (hardware design language). Finally, the experiment results showed that the method has higher feasibility, more ef?ciency and full of resource utilization in practical applications, and it helped to shorten the system development cycle greatly.

Abstract: This study aims to use computer and electronic technology in the field of psychosomatic diseases prevention and treatment. Biological feedback is a new technology to prevent and cure psychosomatic diseases (anxiety disorders, hypertension and neurodermatitis et al.) in medical community. The main method is to present patients’ physiological characteristics with virtual scenes to themselves. Virtual scenes are directly fed back to patient's cerebral cortex, facing these virtual scenes driven by their own physiological characteristics, patients try to adjust their physiological indexes to influence the virtual scenes and transform it to target condition, and finally achieve the aim of treatment. Patients can achieve stability of their visceral functions through the conscious self-adjustment. On the basis of biofeedback, this study further applies the principle and method of "floatation therapy"and"restricted environmental stimulation therapy (REST)"to design a new type of multi-functional floating capsule, which is able to adjust mental and physical discomfort made by stress or negative emotion, thoroughly decreasing risk of illness.
