Abstract: The creation of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) radio platform has allowed the development of high bit-rate Wireless-USB offering High Definition video streaming. Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) and Dual Carrier Modulation (DCM) are the current modulation schemes used for Multiband Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MB-OFDM) in the ECMA-368 defined UWB radio platform. ECMA-368 offers up to 480 Mb/s instantaneous bit rate to the Medium Access Control (MAC) layer to enable the high-rate transmission, but depending on radio channel conditions dropped packets unfortunately result in a lower throughput. This paper presents a higher data rate modulation scheme that fits within the configuration of the current standard to increase the system throughput by achieving 600 Mb/s (reliable to 3 meters) thus maintaining the high rate USB throughput even with a moderate level of dropped packets. The modulation system is termed Dual Circular 32-QAM (DC 32-QAM). The system performance for fixed point DC 32-QAM modulation is simulated in realistic multipath environments.

Abstract: The objective of this paper was to present an approach to design a system for searching and counting the number of banner ads appearing in sports videos. The searching proceedings of matching feature points from pre-specified sample ads use the color histogram and the SURF (Speeded-Up Robust Features) algorithm. This searching approach can robustly identify objects among scaling and partial occlusion while achieving nearly real-time performance. This system worked effectively in our experiments using real videos.

Abstract: This paper reviews the problems confronting the food logistics system in safeguarding food quality in China, which include incomplete food logistics system failing to guarantee food quality, backward logistics facilities, equipment and technical means, incomplete cold supply chain logistics service system, absence of logistics technical standards and backward monitoring technology, etc. China’s food logistics safety system shall be constructed with three parts: safety system of each sectors of the food supply chain, food safety credit information system and food safety tracking system. On setting up and operating China’s food logistics safety system, the three key players, i.e., government, industry organizations and each nodal enterprises of food supply chain, shall be in close collaboration to guarantee whole process of food safety. In the meanwhile, quality monitoring and management agencies shall be established and dominated by core enterprises, responsible for the quality of entire food supply chain. And China also needs to improve food logistics technology, intensify standardization, reinforce the cold chain logistics service to cultivate the food logistics safety system, ensuring food safety from "farm to fork".

Abstract: Water Pollution Problem of water supply areas of South-to-North Water Transfer Project is attracting increasing attention. The local governments of Water supply areas along the water delivery line will face two strategies choice: Pollution control or No pollution control. The paper puts the local governments of water supply areas as the basic research object, uses the evolutionary game (EG) theory, and separately analyses repeated dynamic and its evolutionary stable strategy (ESS) of the local governments’ strategies choice with and without Superior government supervising. This study suggests that the ESS will be (No pollution control, No pollution control) when the Superior government have no supervision. And on the contrary, the ESS will be changed according to the varying degrees of Incentives or Punitive measures carried out by the Superior government. The Superior government must bring effective incentive and punitive measures into force to the local governments and guide the ESS to stable state which is good for the operation of SNWT project.

Abstract: In order to enhance the performance of multi-channel systems, a new method for phase uniformity correction is proposed in this paper. Two methods to regulate the phase, using a single inductor and using 90/180 degree phase shifters assisted by a Phase Locked Loop, are compared. The analysis proves that the later accurate phase adjusting method can achieve zerodegree phase error among channels of a multi-channel system. Finally, phase correction procedure in an application design of a multi-channel super-heterodyne receiver for adaptive phase adjusting is described in details.

Abstract: Combining the characteristics of Government Non-profitable Investment Project in post-disaster reconstruction, this paper uses the function analysis system technique theory to analyze the function cost in each stage of life cycle, then establishes the life cycle cost analysis model for functions, and is illustrated by a case of post-disaster reconstruction according to the various segments at all stages of the project management according to the function of project management model. And this management model also can help such disaster areas introduce and practice those advanced project models, and enhance the ability of managers in such post-disaster reconstruction projects.

Abstract: As an integrated part of goods exchange, trade credit bridges financial and operation decision. For a firm in the middle of credit chain, how to coordinate inventory decision, cash holding with two level trade credit under financial constraints is important. This paper attempts to develop a mathematical model to examine the exact relations between them. By introducing adjusted financial probability coefficient as a key index, results indicate that when the trade credit upstream supplier offers to focal firm is large enough, if adjusted financial distress probability is above some value, optimal inventory holding has no relations with financial distress coefficient. But if the upper bound is little, even if adjusted financial distress coefficient is high, optimal inventory and financial distress coefficient are interrelated.

Abstract: R&D is the important growing way for High-tech enterprises, but funds is the key facter of R&D. Firstly the paper defines R&D financing efficiency and analyses its affecting factors based on the characteristics of R&D project and R&D financing activity. Secondly it inspects R&D financing situation of chinese high-tech enterprises from capital sources and financing structures and then analyzes R&D financing obstacles. The results reveal that the financing dilemma and the unreasonable financing structure lead to the low R&D financing efficiency. The blocked financing channels and the imperfect non-standardized financial institutions are the external reasons which impede the rationalization of financing structure, weaken the freedom of R&D funds and reduce R&D financing efficiency. The characteristics of R&D investment, the nature of corporate assets and the asymmetric information of R&D financing are the internal reasons. Finally the paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the R&D financing efficiency from transaction efficiency and utilization efficiency. The former includes three levels: government, financial insituations and high-tech enterprises.

Abstract: In this paper, we deal with the homology group of partial differential operators and establish a chain complex by using the partial differential operators as chain mappings. We also derive some properties of higher order partial differential operators from the ones with the lower order.
